Blog Journal 6
When I opened Diigo for this class I was a bit confused as I wasn't entirely sure about the purpose of this website. The design of the website is not very modern and it is a bit confusing. As I explored this website more I learned about its purpose and the features it offered. I started to get more familiar with it and I found it to be very simple to use and accessible. I think this website is very useful to organize, bookmark, or annotate websites. Moreover, I think that I would continue to use this website and implement it for my classes.
My experience with blogging so far has been very enjoyable and it has allowed me to share my own thoughts about different topics. I have never blogged before taking this class and throughout this process, I have learned how to use the tools of the software Blogger and implement my own thoughts into my posts. I feel like these blogging assignments have enabled me to be more creative and learn how to properly express my thoughts.
A Web 2.0 that I would use when teaching my students is Class Dojo a software that helps teachers and students to connect through many interactive features. This software is intended to boost students' positive behavior and it also keeps parents up to date with their child's progress in class. I would use Class Dojo for my students and award them when they behave well with other students in class and when they do their homework or participate in class. I think that this is a good program to motivate students to learn and cultivate a learning environment in the class.
