My experience with MS Word started in middle school and I mostly used it for writing assignments and lab reports. In high school, my skills in MS Word were mostly basic without many instructions. However, my skills with MS Word became more advanced at FSU as most of my classes required lengthy writing assignments with specific instructions. As a psychology major, I have had to write lengthy peer-reviewed papers using APA format. I prefer using Google Docs when I am working with my peers on a group project or taking notes for my classes. However, I prefer working on MS Word rather than Google docs as it is easy for me to edit and format my work properly.

The standard that is most meaningful to me is the 2.4 Collaborator that states for educators to dedicate time to collaborate with students and other colleagues to improve practice, discover and share resources and ideas, and solve problems. I believe this standard is very important for K-12 educators to be able to utilize their curriculum and create a good learning environment through teamwork. Teachers have a hard time encouraging teamwork as there is a strong focus on individual work with students. When students focus to work individually they miss out on the opportunity to socialize and work with others. Educators need to collaborate and co-learn with students to assist them with digital resources and expand their learning experience with technology.

I agree that the label "digital native" is accurate as the younger generation has been equipped with technology from a young age. It is very common for children today to use technology for a number of reasons such as playing games or watching videos. Moreover, technology has expanded our knowledge as we retrieve a lot of information virtually. I do think that there is a difference in how teachers and students incorporate the use of technology. Last year during the Covid lockdown all of my classes were online and some teachers had little experience in running their classes remotely and misplacing assignments and grades. Moreover, I do think that in the future I will become a "digital immigrant" when my future students will have more knowledge in technology. However, I will make sure to provide them with a good learning experience and keep myself updated with technology.
